Pension Fund Service (PFS) would like to share our findings with a select group of local authority pools and the LGA , regarding FX Transparency. Having seen costs of over 16 basis points for FX Execution transactions, the recent creation of 8 Local Government Pension pools is a viable solution for the UK Local Authorities regarding FX Execution. Given that pooling guidance is just around the corner, we feel this is a good time to discuss cost transparency. The pension schemes could save costs, stay independent of each other, and can benefit even further by being together on the same FX programme.

The aims are to provide a forum, enhance governance and framework around Foreign Exchange and provide access to resources and case studies.
